Welcome to My Finance Matters!
My name is Sue and I am a personal finance junkie. The reason I started this website was to hopefully dump all the financial info I’ve accumulated into one place. This will start out on a personal level, but I’m hoping it will blossom into a regular blog, where people can come to find tips and advice on finance matters.
A little background info on me. Currently, I reside in a house I own with my significant other, Robbie. I work full time as an Accountant by day, I own my own Athena’s Home Novelties home party business, and I am pursuing my Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance by night. The day I turned 18, I moved out of the house and have been financially independent ever since {I’m 30 now, eek!}. There have been struggles with debt and spending. While I’m on the path to a debt-free lifestyle, there are always pitfalls along the way. This journey to becoming debt-free is just beginning. I intend to make myself accountable with this website, and publish my progress.

Figured I’d be the first to comment and let you know that yup, some of us pay attention to what our friends are up to! Congrats to you! I know about the financial pitfalls……way too much…..maybe somewhere along the way, I can find some tips to help to get out of them! I’m slowly working on it, but seems like it’s taking forever!
